| Description |
10 dances. The main piece, 'Greening', has been devised by Shona Dunlop for about 18 dancers. The dance provides a vision of the world breaking apart because of the careless attitude that humanity has to the environment. Then it moves on to the reawakening of the world. Three of the dances are choreographed by Carol Brown, based on the trilogy of novels by Antonia White, exploring aspects of women's lives growing up earlier this century. She and Bronwyn Judge creates 'Tidal Imprints'. An improvisational dance called 'Driftnet' leaves the stage open to the dancers to perform and create the dance anew each night. |
