Description On July 17 1918, Tsar Nicholas II, Empress Alexandra, their four daughters (Olga, Tatiana, Marie and Anastasia) and their son Alexis were shot in a cellar. Rumoured to have survived, a claimant to be Anastasia appeared in the 1930s.
