| Description | An adaptation into English of an operetta, originally in German, based on a work by the Hungarian Emmerich Foeldes. Viktoria is a Hungarian countess who believes her first love, the Hussar captain Stefan Koltay, was killed in World War I. She marries the American legate John Cunlight and resettles at the American embassy in Tokyo. Koltay reappears, alive; the American generously releases Viktoria from their union. | ||||||||||||||||
