Description The twins, Mickey and Edward, are separated at birth as their mother, who has been deserted by her husband, can't afford to keep both. Mrs Johnstone cleans house for the childless, upwardly-mobile Mrs Lyons, who offers to bring up one of the twins as her own. Time, distance and class cannot keep the estranged brothers apart.

Further Information David Soul, of Starsky and Hutch fame, came from the USA for this part. The directors had directed the long-running London production, which was reproduced on this tour. National. Regent Theatre Dunedin 27 April - 1 May; James Hay Theatre Christchurch 3 - 21 May; ASB Theatre, Aotea Centre, Auckland 29 May - 26 June. The production then went to Melbourne, and played at the Comedy Theatre in July 1994, until 3 September. Then went on Australian tour.
