Description The play, which takes its title and some of themes from the Greek myth of Orpheus taking Euridice out of the underworld, is set in a Southern United States town. A drinking retreat is burnt to the ground by the Ku Klux Klan after its white owner serves drinks to blacks. Years later the daughter of the owner, who died in the fire, finds that old wounds haven't healed and history begins to repeat itself. Enter the mysterious drifter with the nickname Snakeskin.
