| Description |
In 1970 George, a drunk but kindly able seaman, had a one-night stand with a naive Maori girl. He didn't realise she was under age. Four years later he is about to take off to Australia, to escape the law on some other matter. To celebrate his last night in Rotorua, he picks up Tania in the pub and brings her home. But en route she has to pick up Rose, her 'hick chick' cousin from Taranaki, at the bus station… |
