| Description |
No longer a play, Big Bad Mouse has become a vehicle for the particular talents of its two stars. They maintain a pretence of being characters in a story, but they continually step outside the plot to be themselves….Sykes and Edwards appear to be making it all up as they go along. They are not, of course. There were obviously set gags, carefully rehearsed and beautifully timed. Over the years the produciton has developed a remarkable rhythm of its own, allowing first one man to entertain solo, then the other, then letting them combine for a double act. |
