Further Information 'There's no special lighting at all, no sound; we don't even use any plugs. I could perform it on a traffic island - it's just me and three photographs.' Alongside an art gallery setting, the snapshots by leading art photographer Ronnie van Hout play an integral role in the presentation of the work. 'The shots are of the environments I talk about in the show, and they have Ronnie's personal style stamped on them. 'Then, as they watch the show, those same images are slowly filled up by the emotions and actions conveyed by the four characters. It's another way of connecting with your audience so they really commit themselves to hearing the story, and allow you to tell it.' (From interview in Sunday Star Times 2/11/97) The show later evolved into the film For Good(2003). Toured to Auckland's Artspace Gallery in the second week of December 1997. Fuel Festival, Hamilton, 24 June- 5 July.
