The Secretary for War is persuaded by his wife to take over the reins of power from an aging but still popular and actve Prime Minister while a rebellion is going on in the land…It was all summed up by the sub-title that Lord gave the radio version of this play which Anthony Taylor produced for the N.Z.B.C. in 1975 - A Child's Garden of Vices….I gather you don't like the play? No, I found it a complete bore. |
