An adult education class weekend class in playwriting has been set up in the classroom of a secondary school in a small New Zealand town. Peter Dingwall, a writer who has reached his creative menopause, is due to lecture to an English teacher, a housewife, two local repertory buffs and a self-centred embryonic writer.
