| Description |
On Saturday evening, Mr. H. Smithers (who with his family came to Sydney some time ago from the Clarence River, for the purpose of undergoing severe surgical operations), gave a pleasant evening's entertainment at the Australian Hall, Dixon-street. The programme consisted chiefly of vocal music and dancing, and the attendance seemed highly gratified by the manner in which each performer acquitted their parts. There are two more concerts to be given both of which are to enable Mr. Smithers to recover his expenses, and assist him and family to return to the North. |
