Description Mutating Roots explores a Japanese woman'™s identity away from her cultural home through her physical challenges of circus and movements. Playing with ideas of what it is to be an absent Japanese woman in her cultural home and a Japanese woman in Australia, and drawing on memories, resonances and traditional stories, Mutating Roots is a strange and otherworldly performance that will challenge expectations of how this woman should behave.
