| Description | Kayla Behayi and Alicia Dulnuan-Demou present their first collaboration, Call Your Girlfriend, for Piss Poor Effort.2. This short performance reflects on the significance of friendship when experiencing anxiety. Borrowing from drama therapy, the work uses the exercise of ‘talking through objects’ to externalise internal thoughts. The artists’ psychological framework is based on cognitive behavioural therapy, focusing on the factors: thoughts, feelings, and physical environment, as influencers of emotion. | |||||||||||||
