This new devised work is a drag show like no other, and a Shakespeare play like, well, a drag show! Using Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, they have explored a multitude of dramatic conventions such as clowning, puppetry, slam poetry and lipsyncing for their lives to navigate our society’s obsession with sex, gender and romance through an intersectional, queer and feminist perspective. |
