A weave of Filipinorama, mask and movement. Sinakulo, named after the popular, village-level form of pageant using stories and legends about the Passion and death of Christ, follows a Filipino bar-girl and a liberationist Australian priest as they battle for personal integrity against corporate globalism with input from members of the Brisbane Filipino-Australian community. |
