| Description |
Playwright Peter Barnes focuses his dramatic lens on cerebral palsy. Joseph Carver the judo master is the product of an English slum environment. He has made his way forward in the world through his own brand of judo which rationalises his life experiences and accommodates his aspirations. His judo is also a becoming a profitable business. When George Hills (Neil Roach) and Douglas Powell (Kym Campbell) both "suffering" cerebral palsy arrive for lessons in Carver's gym, Carver's judo tenets are put to the test. |
