| Description |
Barousek's Edith Piaf: A Quest for Love is little more than vignettes strung along the time-line of Piaf's biography, interspersed with snatches of song. The play starts late at night in the cafe of Louis Leplee, the gangster with an aristocratic veneer, who discovered her singing on the streets of Paris and began the transformation of Edith Gassion into La Mome Piaf. |
