Description The bored Queen must be entertained. Her aging jester, who no longer finds himself or anything particularly amusing, attempts to placate and amuse his vindictive mistress; she, in turn, finds fault with all he does and constantly threatens him with his life. Clowning, non-stop babbling, buffoonery, witty repartee, great mime tricks, special effects, ridiculous jokes, asides, mugging and abrupt improvisations - anything and everything is tried. And, if he doesn't succeed, the end is final. Worse still, the queen won't have got over her boredom - she needs a good jester and it might be your turn next.
