| Description | Eight actors. Two directors. Go.
During AK07, Silo Theatre discovered and developed the next generation of contemporary actors with The Ensemble Project. Playing to critical acclaim and capacity audiences, a dozen actors were led through theatrical bootcamp, as two works were created to be played in repertory. In Auckland Festival 2009, Silo Theatre delivers the next generation of performance. Back Story is devised and directed by Oliver Driver. Using the pivotal provocation of Auckland as an international city, Silo Theatre celebrates the urban metropolis in which we live, comparing and contrasting the sometimes difficult interface of differing cultures and communities. Listen to the soundtrack of life. Experience the thrill of the new. This is visceral theatre at its best. |
