A very pleasant and successful concert was held in the Miners' Institute, Southern Cross on Wednesday evening last, in aid of the
Fremantle Sailors' Rest. The efforts of Captain Smith, and Messrs. Gregory and Cuzens,, in organising the entertainment, were recognised by a most enthusiastic audience. Everything passed off splendidly. The sum of £12 is to be handed to Mrs. Smith, Fremantle, as the net result. |
