The procession held on Monday night by the members of the Fremantle Bicycle Club and other cyclists proved quite a success. There were about 20 bicycles in the procession. Each one carried two Chinese lanterns and seeing them wheel round the corners was one of the most effective sights ever beheld in Fremantle. High-street was completely crowded with spectators, who expressed their admiration
as the machines wheeled by. |
