On the 8th July an entertainment was given at the Asylum by the Havelock Minstrels, for the benefit of the inmates. The programme comprised a number of popular ballads, excellently rendered, a stump speech by. Mr. H. H. Evans, and a violin solo by Mr. Clough. |
