| Description |
The last year of Mozart's life is the stuff of legend. As his health and well being crumbled, Mozart continued to produce works of towering beauty, including The Magic Flute, the Clarinet Concerto and finally the mighty Requiem. To complement this moving piece, Opera Australia presents the overture and selected arias from Mitridate, re di Ponto, written by Mozart when he was 14. Maestro Richard Hickox, one of the world's great choral conductors, bring these profound and captivating works to the Sydney Opera House for one night only. |
