Description |
The hours are celebrated by a timekeeper, high in a bell tower above the streets of Paris. The bells call down to a barefooted traveller on the cobbles below. This pair of outcasts find affinity with each other. However, the priest sees her bare feet dancing through stained glass and becomes torn between divinity and desire. When the traveller’s sanctuary is invaded, the timekeeper doesn't want to toll the hours anymore and the bells are left to lament alone in his silent world. |
