The UK premiere of Brian Friel’s new play PERFORMANCES will be an important event in the London performance calendar. It is a unique mix of drama from the hand of Ireland’s finest living playwright (Brian Friel) and music from one of the great composers of the 20th century, Leos Janacek. The play will particularly appeal to lovers of classical music who will enjoy the added value of dramatic insight into Janacek’s creation of his iconic string quartet, Intimate Letters. |
