| Description |
Sarod maestro Amjad Ali Khan is one of the best loved and admired contemporary Indian musicians. Sixth generation representative of the Bangash school of sarod playing, Amjad represents successive refinements of this difficult but beautiful 19 string instrument, rival to the sitar in north Indian classical tradition. He has a unique hypnotic style. Amjad is accompanied by his 2 young sons, Amaan and Ayaan. |
