| Description |
This Territory Life involves a stellar line-up of artists, educators, architects, scientists, anthropologists and more, all delving deep into life in the Territory. Throughout the series we’ll explore Darwin’s habitat, history, heritage, innovations, politics, links to land and water and much more through fascinating short presentations designed to get you thinking. On Tuesday 13 and 20 August The Lighthouse will be the setting for two evenings. Inspired by the idea of ‘To cut a long story short’, a vast array of speakers will give quick-fire presentations based on a PechaKucha style – a world-renowned format of 20 slides, 20 seconds per slide to keep presentations concise, inspiring and to the point. There’ll also be music, film and lively discussions from local identities, unsung heroes, well-known faces and those with an interesting take on this life we live in the Territory. |
