| Description | Explores the intricacies of the mother-daughter relationship. "A surreal play about loss and disappointment". A black comedy with music. Originally titled 'Hitler had a Mummy Too', this play explores a mother/daughter relationship and asks the question 'can we ever escape our conditioning?'. The two characters, Mummy and Betty compete for supremacy in a macabre, emotionally charged battle ground where both characters compete for supremacy in the relationship. Often seen as a 'sacred cow', the play offers another look at a mother /daughter and explodes some myths about how loving and tolerant this particular relationship is. |
