His current band features a heady mix of jazz, latin and funk, played by a group of young talented Western Australians, plus Sri Lankan Percussionist Sunil de Silva, and saxophonist Simon Stockhausen - their hard-hitting front-line partnership first hit it off whilst playing with the legendary composer Lalo Schifrin, and has gone from strength to strength since. The group's music has been captured on the brilliant recording On the Edge (Morrison Records). |
