Description Set in Australia, in fact some 60 miles from Sydney, and in the year 1927, the play begins in a mood of reverie, as the author looks back to his boyhood in Australia, recreating the spirit of place and time. As the story develops, it makes use of quite a few dramatic cliches and has some side issues that don't lead us very far in any direction.
