Description The plot of the play is of a 'skeletonic nature.' Jack Williams was excellent as Widow O'Brien ... 'make-up, facial expression and gesture were perfect.' Variety turns were introduced into the farce. The programme concluded with a 'Dutch' sketch, 'Gretchen's Lover.' Costumes by McKay and Co were of a high standard. The new scenery of the SS Bristol saloon painted by Mr G Walsh received applause.
