| Description | 'There was a box, unpacked memories. I found questions and answered with... song, dance and a little laugh. Box the pony, you can't box me.'
Growing up on an Aboriginal mission in a family of boxers is a child with all the makings of a champion boxer. Only girls aren't allowed to box. Undeterred, she trains hard, both as a boxer and as a singer, hoping that her boxing will protext her and that her singing will help her to escape. Box the Pony is the inspirational life of Leah Purcell, Wakka Wakka woman, told through stories, dance, song and reenactments, both funny and terrible. Cheerfully |
