Trinity College unveils its new Chapel organ during the 1998 Melbourne Festival with a weekend of diverse music making. The result of a twenty year process, the new organ is capable of accompanying the entire range of English cathedral music, allowing also for the widest range of solo repertoire. Crafted in Dublin by Kenneth Jones, one of the foremost Organ builders, the organ is designed and constructed in keeping with the chapel's existing decor and art noveau Gothic and naturalistic motifs.
