J. C. Williamson Limited |
| Abstract/Description |
It will be noticed in the amusement advertisements to-day that the managerial announcements of the J. C. Williamson management are signed "J. C. Williamson, Ltd." The meaning of this is that the well-known theatrical firm has been formed into a limited liability company. Playgoers, however, will be interested to learn that the company is essentially a private one, and does not entail any change in the direction of the firm's enterprises which Mr. J. C. Williamson will still present. This entrepreneur, who is now in Europe in search of now attractions for Australasia, will remain in active management as governing director of the company, while Mr. G. Ramaciotti and Mr. G. Tallis will be the managing director respectively in Sydney and Melbourne. The company was registered yesterday. |
