| Abstract/Description |
A Gala Christmas carnival and fair held in Springfield Avenue to raise funds for the China-Russia Relief on 12 December. There will be many fancy stalls, games, and a concert by popular artists. Chinese and Russian girls will wear national costumes. Part of the programme at the carnival will be the appearance of ancient Chinese dragons. There will be a presentation by the Polish-Australian ballet under the supervision of Madame Raissa Kouznetsova. Proceeds will be divided equally between the Young Chinese Relief Movement and the King's Cross branch of the Russian Medical Aid Committee. |
