Chinese Play. Production at Tivoli. Ship's Dramatic Club. |
| Abstract/Description |
Those who had never witnessed the production of a Chinese historical play had a novel experience at the Tivoli Theatre last night when, in the presence of the Consul-General for China, Dr C. J. Pao and Madame Pao, the Chinese National Spirit Mobilisation Association presented before a crowded house a Han dynasty drama, or opera, entitled "The Patriotic Maid Serves the State." |
