Title Royal Marionette Theatre
Abstract/Description On Tuesday, the evening's performance will commence with a VIEW OF WATERFORD. Scene I.-WATERFORD Waterford Drummore Pier and Lighthouse the city of Waterford in the distance-incidents-brig getting under weigh -American vessel-arrival of the screw steamer City of Dublin-Signal Station indicates her approach whale boat-man towing raft - pleasure yacht-departure of the steamer, &c. -man drying cattle-sportsman returning home - labourers, man with barrow, &c, &c. Drop-The Castle of Europe. An intermmission of ten minutes between each scene. Scene 2.-ROME. Rome-the Castle ot St. Angelo. St. Peter's in the distance-mendicant friar peasant girl-swan in the water-girl rowing -Padre-peasant's salutation, &c, &c. The whole being a model, on a small scale, of Rome, as lately exhibited in the Zoological Gardens, London. Drop -Zion. Scene 3.-THE ALPS. An Alpine pass -monastery of St. Bernard snow storm - the monks clearing the snow from the door-the dogs of St. Bernard in search of lost travellers, with figures peculiar to the scene. Drop-Constantinople. Scene 4.-THE GREAT TEMPLE OF TARTARY. Chinese Tartary - caravan of travellers - method of carrying the post - camels, &c. Looking-glass Curtain. SCENE 5. Model of the interior of the Great Exhibition looking north, as it appeared before nine in the morning, the hour for admitting visitors.
