| Title |
Wonderland City. A colossal playground. |
| Abstract/Description |
The dominant tone of Mr. W. Anderson's bold scheme of entertainment at Bondi is immensity and comprehensiveness; it stamps the entrepreneur as the Barnum of Australia Such a venture could have been dared only on the assurance that Sydney has a large out door amusement loving population and a climate perfect for the indulgence of the predilection. A rough estimate of the attendance on Saturday night would be some thing about 20,000 men, women, and children and as they moved about they smiled with pleasure and pride at Wonderland City, though it was a city not yet quite built. |
