| Title |
The Plague. New infected areas in Sydney. |
| Abstract/Description |
The Empire Theatre is also in the area, but it is now closed, undergoing a thorough overhaul. As might be imagined, the headquarters of the M.F.B. are kept scrupulously clean ... As for the Empire Theatre which practically adjoins the Castlereagh-street Fire Station it used to have the reputation of having a larger stock of fleas than any building in the city. The entrance ways to
the stage area are dark and used not to be over clean, while the dressing rooms beneath the stage are dark and ill ventilated. |
