| Title |
The Cyclorama. An American Show. |
| Abstract/Description |
Much curiosity has been evinced of late by many persons to know to what purpose ls to be applied a circular-looking building, of huge proportions, which has been erected in George-street West, and opposite to the railway yards. The structure is of brick, is 16-sided, and is capped by a large dome. It has an average diameter of about 125ft., and corresponds in character with buildings used in America as cycloramas. A cyclorama is a contrivance for illustrating important events in history. |
