The Shell Theatre, formerly the old American Picture Palace, is to be the most up-to-date in Sydney's picturedom, carrying every modern convenience tor the comfort of patrons and affording them the latest and best imported and local films. Mr. Walter Brown, who is conducting it, is an American native, and he has decided that the Shell Theatre, in Pitt-street, opposite the Criterion, shall have all the best American equipment in the way of seating, ventilation, and picturing-viewing ease. In addition, Mr.
Brown is installing an organ, by one of the best builders in the United States at a cost of £3000. |
