Domestic Intelligence [The Theatre] |
| Abstract/Description |
A correspondent at Parramatta says, that the closing of the Theatre at that place, was attended with the most disgraceful exhibition that can be conceived. The performers were all "the worse for liquor;" and the audience finding they were defrauded, rushed on the stage and commenced the work of destruction. Mr Nash, who is highly respected by the townspeople, was forced to go on the stage and beg them to desist. They retired vowing vengeance on the performers. |
