| Abstract/Description |
Some time previous to the opening of the saloon as a theatre, my terms were expressed at £5 per week ... Mr. Levey ... told me ... that he could not afford to give me more than three guineas per week ... in proof of which he said, that at the opening of the new theatre I should be re-engaged at my salary of £5 per week ... said I ... if you will give me a memorandum of what you have stated, I will come. He replied, I will.
