| Abstract/Description |
AS guardians of the people - as lovers of truth I humbly trust that you will give to the public my statement, not coloured by polished language, but by simple facts ... Good God ! no one will believe this who has any knowledge of me; and to those who have not, I can only state, that such a thought never entered my head nor never will my heart, although I am aware that there are a few busy-bodies who make it their pride and boast to do me all the injury they can by tampering with my performers. |
