Domestic Intelligence [The Theatre] |
| Abstract/Description |
On Monday, being the last night of the season, the widow of the late Mr Laverty took her benefit. The Tale of Mystery, a musical
melo-drama, was the play in which a debutante made her first appearance in the character of Selina, with complete success. Some songs and a dance followed, when Mrs. Laverty presented herself and returned thanks to the numerous assembled audience, for their kindness in coming forward to assist her on this occasion, and she hoped by her future exertions to prove that she merited their patronage. The Pantomime of the Three Wishes
in eight scenes, concluded the evening's amusements, which were well received. |
