Having visited the Theatre last Thursday evening to witness the representation of the favourite melo-drame of The Tale of Mystery, written by T. Holcroft, author of the admired domestic comedy of The Road to Ruin, I have to notice that much expense has been bestowed on the splendid manner it is got up ; the dresses were superbly grand : I offer you my humble criticisms, if they are worthy of your columns, the insertion will oblige. |
