Sporting Intelligence [Theatricals] |
| Abstract/Description |
On Saturday night last, a new piece called the Miser, in 3 acts, was performed to a numerous audience. Mr. Buckingham, though certainly not equal in talent to Mr. Farren— as remarked by the Sydney Gazette— performed his part admirably, and met with decided applause ... The piece was repeated on Monday night with much improvement ... The Miser was also repealed on Thursday night, with the Tale of Mystery. |
