| Abstract/Description |
The Tale of Mystery and the Village Lawyer were the two first pieces presented to the public on Thursday night, and they both met with applause. Bombastes Furioso concluded the entertainment, in which Mr. Meredith's character, Bombastes, drew deserved approbation. We complain, however, of his not sticking to the author, and his attempts to improvesatorise. |
