Abstract/Description We all remember — at least Barnet Levey remembers — the howling of a certain race some time ago when a theatre was first proposed in this colony. We all remember the heavy denunciations levied against the wicked heads of the wicked sinners who should cross the threshold of a playhouse, and behold the profane mysteries of the stage !
