The remaining characters were very poorly supported ; the actors stammered, waiting for the prompter, and so drugged in their parts, spoiling the acting of the more industrious actors ... Mr. Lewis continues to preside at the orchestra, & his music as usual, was greatly inferior to that in the Barrack-yard. |
